UNI.ART Gallery

A photo project about the city of New York and my meeting with it during three summers in a row.

Under long walks with my little compact camera I have tried to capture things that you don´t always take notice of. Details in the street that are there but don´t assert itself. I paired this with the people I´ve met and had brief encounters with during the strolls. People who kindly participated in this project.

The images are usually put together by combining two or more to form a new image. A process that enhances the final image and give 

it a new depth with more associations. 

I always go out with the thought of trying to see what is not obvious, things beyond the visible and things that is usually considered not worth paying attention to. This creates a different angle to a well known motif like New York.

In short, my view of New York.
